Kettlebell Class

Description:

Kettlebells are solid cast iron weights that look like a cannon ball with a suitcase handle.

PSP lead kettlebell classes, utilize all your core muscles which are absolutely essential for maintaining good health. Unlike any other standard weight training or fitness program, kettlebells reduce the risk of injury because the movements are based on functional movements.

Using a century old technique developed in Russia, a typical kettlebell routine builds functional muscular strength by mimicking movements in your everyday life such as picking up grocery bags, gardening or even flipping a mattress. A single routine will use all ranges of motions so joints and muscles are strengthened from all angles.

PSP currently teaches classes with kettlebells weighing 18 lbs, 26 lbs and 32 lbs.   Classes offered are typically 40 minutes - 1 hour in length.

Other benefits of Kettlebell classes are:

  • burn fat quickly
  • increase flexibility, agility and mobility
  • build muscular strength
  • boost your energy levels
  • reduce stress and tension in your body
  • get results fast for optimum fitness

Equipment you will need: workout clothes, running shoes, water bottle and a towel (to wipe down hands and face).
